On July 30th, 2015 the NYCSRA held a forum with key members of New York City's Department of Buildings. This was one of the Association's most successful events with over 160 people, ranging from members to building managers, in attendance.
Keynote speaker Robert D'Alessio, Senior Executive Director of Construction Safety, discussed and clarified various regulations affecting our industry. Topics ranged from DOB regulations to NYC building code and site safety rules.
After Mr. D'Alessio's presentation atendees were invited to engange in discussion with all DOB guests in the form of a question and answer session. DOB guests included Chief Gary Grandstaff and Assistant Chief Eriberto Mendez, Scaffold Safety, and Directot Bernand Ross of the Engineering & Safety Operations Unit.
