Guidance on Essential Business
The NYC Department of Buildings issued notices (links below) clarifying the updated guidance from the NYS Empire State Development Corporation. These include:
the posting of a Certificate of Authorization for work at all DOB-approved job sites,
Professional Certification and DOB audit of applications for essential work,
a dual-appeal process for DOB denial of Essential work, and
a process to electronically notify DOB when work to make a site safe is concluded.
