Tenant Protection Plan Reform:This law requires construction documents related to work in an occupied building to contain a Tenant Protection Plan. The bill also requires that DOB perform inspections to ensure that sites are complying with their applicable tenant protection plans.
Safe Construction Bill of Rights: This law requires owners of multiple dwellings to provide a Safe Construction Bill of Rights for the following types of construction: • an application for a permit for work not constituting minor alterations or ordinary repairs; • an emergency work permit; • new buildings, immediately upon application for a Temporary Certificate of Occupancy
