Governor Cuomo extends NY on pause until May 28th

Governor Cuomo today announced the NY on Pause order will be extended until May 28th for those regions of the state that have not yet met the re-opening criteria. If a region hits the benchmark criteria between now and then, they can reopen. Please click here to see the regional monitoring board, which provides a running update of each region’s status and potential for reopening.

Currently, 5 Regions in Upstate New York are allowed to begin Phase 1 of the re-opening, including construction. The details of the various phases of re-opening in the Governor’s NY Forward plan can be found here, and the State’s Construction guidelines for Employers and Employees, can be found here.

We continue engaging State and City officials to provide guidance and learn more about when the New York City region will be able to get back to work.
