DOB Update on Tenant Protection Plans

As of June 22, 2020, an updated version of the TPP1: Tenant Protection Plan Form must be used and the associated Tenant Protection Plan Notice to Occupants must be distributed to occupied dwelling units and posted within the building when a permit is issued.

The updated version of the TPP1: Tenant Protection Plan Form requires that the dwelling units that will be occupied during construction be identified with greater specificity, that the specific means and methods to be used for the limitation of noise to acceptable levels in accordance with the NYC Noise Control Code be identified, and that the Form be signed by the permit applicant and property owner.

Previously, the Tenant Protection Plan Notice to Occupants had to be distributed to occupied dwelling units or posted within the building when a permit is issued.
