DOB Proposes Penalties for Failure to Certify Correction of Certain Immediately Hazardous Violation

Please note the Proposed Rule – Amendment of Certain Penalties - related to specifying penalties for failure to certify correction of certain immediately hazardous violations. The Violations differ on the size of the building, beginning at $1,500 for one- or two-family dwellings and rise to $3,000 not to exceed $5,000 for a building other than a one-family or two-family dwelling.

DOB will hold an online hearing via Webex on Thursday 7/30/20 at 11am. The Proposed rule will be published in the City Record on 6/30/20.
